Funny, isn’t it? But up until a few weeks ago, didn’t it seem that disaster relief was something that someone else living somewhere else was applying for? Then, it began to rain…and, rain…and, rain…until basements flooded, lawns turned to ponds, and rivers decided to take to the streets. After years and years of helping disaster victims elsewhere…the time has come when some Wisconsinites need temporary help, as they pump-out, mop-up, and rebuild.
If you are someone in Southeastern or South Central Wisconsin who has been damaged by the recent rains and flooding, you might be eligible for Federal assistance.
