I've known enough meteorologists in my time in the media to know that they live for wild weather. Fortunately the people I consider friends are not sensationalists. 

That said, most come off little different from this guy:

I want to make it clear, I'm not making fun. I found it charmingly amusing. 

That said, the Governor has issued an emergency declaration to that end:

The Executive Order will ready the Wisconsin Emergency Management, the Wisconsin National Guard, the State Patrol, and other Wisconsin state agencies.

“I issued this executive order to make sure Wisconsin is prepared for whatever this winter storm may bring,” Governor Walker said.  “Mobilizing our state agency resources during this storm will ensure we leave nothing to chance when it comes to protecting the citizens of Wisconsin.”

The Wisconsin State Patrol and the National Weather Service are urging citizens to avoid traveling.
