Why is nobody in Congress thinking about Kwanzaa? Or Ramadan? Or Hannukah. Only Christmas, but the body is being asked to plan to be in session Christmas Eve and back the day after.
"Is there not an appreciation for the Jewish holidays? The Christmas holiday? Kwanzaa? All the other things that families come together around? Bonding rituals important to the strength of our society? Do we not care about that? Well, the American people do. And they want to shop for it." - Wednesday, December 12, 2012, House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on the house floor
Hey, Nance (can I call you Nance?): If you and yours don't get your ish together and partake in real reforms, we're going to be diving head-first off a fiscal cliff that will hurt every American. Badly. Screw the holidays. Time off is great but not if you have work to do.
This is utterly ridiculous. Instead of offering answers, Pelosi and her ilk throw blame. It's beyond tired.
