Four good-to-great movies out this week.

Argo is a brilliant, well-constructed historical drama with an especially timely political message.

Seven Psychopaths is probably my favorite movie of the year (not best, mind you) because of its wicked sense of humor and meta critique of Hollywood.

Sinister is a clever twist on the found footage horror movie that imparts true dread on the audience, giving a good mystery to go along with the scares. It's a bit cliched toward the end but still solid and better than the boring Paranormal Activity series.

Here Comes The Boom is decent. I'm not sure if it's good, though, because it exceeded my basement-level expectations. Still, funny and family-friendly.

I also stumbled on this cute short film starring Kid Rock and Sean Penn--about the division in our ideologies and how it doesn't have to divide us.
