I don't understand why Gov Evers would dig in and refuse to meet directly or routinely with legislative leaders. I honestly don't. It is the job he was elected to do. Vos and Fitz are asking for occasionally scheduled meetings directly with Evers himself. That's too much to ask?
Is it a power trip? Do you think they are only worthy of a staffer's time? Do you think they'll trick or outsmart you? Are your days too busy? It seems like an important part of the job description.
Will some reporter ask the question? Is it a power trip to run everything through a Chief of Staff? Is Evers eating waffles in his office while his staff does the work? Why the-BY GOD, NO- attitude?
