A great story out of North Carolina where administrators at East Wake High decided there would be no more Valedictorians...(might make others feel bad, you see..) The policy was supposed to kick in next year but at East Wake they decided not to wait, stripping Josh Allmon of the honor despite his 5.3 GPA, the highest in his graduating class. Allmon has a long list of accomplishments any father would be proud of: all conference in two sports, Beta club and NHS club president and a North Carolina Chancellors Leadership Scholar, just to name a few.
