A number of people living in the small town of Doraville, Georgia have decided to take the city to court over its municipal court system that many believe exists only to raise revenue for the city. How? By fining homeowners for such things as cracked driveways, poorly stacked wood, tiny paint chips and the list goes on and on. One man was hit with a 1-thousand dollar fine and threatened with jail time because the wood pile in his back yard was, in the words of the inspector, "poorly stacked"! A woman was hit with a 100 dollar fine because her driveway is cracked. She was also threatened with a fine when the inspector found some tiny chips of paint around her water faucet!
